Aisling Kenna Senior Club Coach Qualifications: Level 2 Coach & Club Judge Aisling is the longest standing member of the Old Bawn coaching team. She began coaching in 1985 when the club was established and over the years has worked extensively with both recreational classes and intermediate/advanced gymnasts in the club.
Evelyn Burke Senior Club Coach Qualifications: Level 2 Coach & Club Judge Evelyn trained with the club from 1989 to 2000 achieving All Ireland Junior Code & Tumbling titles. She has been coaching since 1996. She was an official coach to the Irish National Minor Team at the Celtic Cup Competition this year.
Andrea Brennan Senior Club Coach Qualifications: Level 2 Coach & Club Judge As a youngster Andrea trained with Mt. Anville Gymnastics Club. Among her achievements as a gymnast she was the Irish National Champion in 1974. Andrea joined the Old Bawn coaching team with her brother Joe Corbett in 1992 and since the club has gone from strength to strength.
Aoife Synnott Senior Club Coach Qualifications: Level 1 Coach Aoife trained with the club from 1989 to 2000 during which time she achieved All Ireland Junior Code titles. Aoife also competed in National Tumbling competitions. She has been coaching since 1999 and works with our intermediate and advanced gymnasts.
Ciara Palmer Club Coach Qualifications: Level 1 Coach & Club Judge, Certificate in Sports Injury Management (gymnastics specific) Ciara trained with the club from 1998 and has been coaching since 2004. Her main focus at the moment is with a group of our very talented youngsters (Aged 7-9) who we have high hopes for in the future. Ciara is also the Regional Squad director for the South Dublin Boys Squad.
Club Coach Qualifications: Level 0 Coach & Club Judge Rachel trained with the club from 1994 to 2005. During her gymnastics career she competed up to Junior Code level with an unfortunate injury keeping her from National level competition. She has been coaching since 2005.
Roisin O'Keefe
Club Coach Qualifications: Level 0 Coach Roisin trained competitively with the club for a number of years. Roisin works with both recreational and intermediate gymnasts in the club.
Ping Li Kelly
Club Coach Qualifications: Level 0 Coach Ping is one of our most recent additions to the coaching team. Ping trained as an elite gymnast in China in her younger days. Now living here in Ireland, she brings her valuable experience to our club. She works with the intermediate/advanced gymnasts in the club.
Peter Keane
Club Coach Qualifications: Level 0 Coach Peter was a member of our boys training group for a number of years before he took up coaching. His main focus is with the upcoming boys squad.
Senior Recreational Coach Qualifications: Level 1 Coach Karen is one of the longest standing members of the Old Bawn coaching team. Over the years she has worked extensively with our recreational gymnasts and brings much experience to the team.
