Qualifications:
Level 2
Coach & Regional Judge
Evelyn trained with the club from 1989 to
2000 achieving All Ireland Junior Code & Tumbling titles. She has
been coaching since 1996. Evelyn works predominantly
with the advanced club gymnasts & national squad
members. She has represented Ireland as an official team coach on
a number of occasions including the Tournoi International Competition in
Belgium 2008, the
2008 UEG International Training Camp
in Tirrenia, Italy and the Celtic Cup 2008 & 2009.

 Andrea
Brennan
Senior Club Coach
Qualifications:
Level 2
Coach & Regional Judge
As a youngster Andrea trained with Mount Anville Gym Club. Among
her achievements as a gymnast she was the Irish National Champion in
1974. She was a member of the Irish National Squad and represented
Ireland in competitions at home and abroad. Andrea joined Old Bawn
in 1992 with her brother Joe Corbett and since then the club has gone
from strength to strength. Andrea works with our intermediate and
advanced gymnasts and also coaches our new development squad of age 5-7
year olds. She represented Ireland this year as official team coach for
the 2010 Celtic Cup team.

 Aisling
Kenna

Qualifications:
Level 2
Coach
Aisling is the longest standing member of the Old Bawn coaching team.
She began coaching in 1985 when the club was established and over the
years has worked extensively with both recreational classes and
intermediate/advanced gymnasts in the club. Aisling is also
responsible for managing and coordinating our recreational class
programme.

Palmer

Qualifications:
Level 1 Coach, Regional
Judge, Certificate in Sports Injury Management (gymnastics specific)
Ciara trained with the club from 1998 and has been coaching since 2004.
Her main focus at the moment is with a group of our very talented
youngsters (Age 7-9 development squad) who we have high hopes for in the
future. Ciara is also the Regional Squad director for the South
Dublin Boys Squad.

 Rachel
Brennan

Judge
Rachel trained with the club from 1994 to 2005. During her
gymnastics career she competed up to Junior Code level with an
unfortunate injury keeping her from National level competition.
She has been coaching since 2005 and currently works with our
development squad of 7-9 year olds.

Róisín O'Keefe

Qualifications:
Level 1 Coach
Róisin trained competitively with the club for a number of years before
moving on to coaching. Róisin works with both recreational and
intermediate level gymnasts in the club.

Li Kelly

Qualifications:
Level 1 Coach
Ping is one of our most recent additions to the coaching team.
Ping trained as an elite gymnast in China in her younger days. Now
living here in Ireland, she brings her valuable experience to our club.
She works with the intermediate and advanced gymnasts in the club.

Qualifications:
Level 1 Coach
Karen is one of the longest standing members of the Old Bawn coaching
team. Over the years she has worked extensively with our
recreational gymnasts and brings much experience to the coaching team.

Recreational Coach
Qualifications:
Level 1 Coach
Katherine trained and competed with the club for a number of years
before taking up coaching. She works with our recreational
gymnasts.

Niall was a member of our boys squad for a number of years before he
took up coaching. His main focus is with our upcoming boys squad.

Diarmuid Ó

Diarmuid has recently joined our coaching team and assists with our boys
squad. Diarmuids daughter and son are both members of the club and
he has been involved with us for a number of years.
